Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Mather Heights Elementary School! We are delighted to have your child join our school community. Our dedicated team of educators and staff is committed to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.

At Mather Heights, we believe in fostering a love for learning and ensuring that each child feels valued and supported. Our curriculum is designed to challenge students academically while also promoting social and emotional growth. 

One of our goals this school year is to strengthen our site Professional Learning Teams to educate our students best. Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) are crucial in fostering continuous improvement and growth among educators. 

Mather Heights will also implement a robust Multi-Tiered System of Support or MTSS. Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) are essential frameworks in education designed to provide early, systematic assistance to children who need additional support academically or behaviorally. 

Communication between home and school is crucial to your child's success. We encourage you to stay involved and informed about your child's education. Please feel free to reach out to your child's teacher or the school administration with any questions or concerns. We also invite you to participate in school and PTA events, parent-teacher conferences, and volunteer opportunities.

We look forward to a fantastic school year filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences. Together, we can ensure that Mather Heights Elementary School remains a place where every child can achieve their fullest potential.
